Hive to Home

Batch 33 - Banksia and Lemon Scented Eucalyptus – Creamed (sold out)

The lemon scented gum, while native to Queensland, not WA is found planted all around our beehives in Mariginiup. Flowering at the end of winter / start of spring the nectar foraged from these trees add to the winter stores from the Banksia flowers earlier. The honey is light, sweet and a bit tart. This was such a small batch, collected from only two of our hives that we decided to cream it to make a beautiful spread. In the process nothing is added, and the honey stays raw so you can enjoy all of its natural goodness.
